Mission Statement

As a community-based school, we cultivate a caring environment through the development of reverence, empathy, and recognition of humanity that lies within each member of our school. We welcome students of all cultures and ethnicities, and work in partnership with parents, stakeholders, and sister schools around the world. Our teachers work collaboratively with community partners to deliver locally designed, culturally relevant lessons and research-based literacy programs, which utilize proven instructional strategies and theory. To empower students as agents of change, we engage in critical thinking, creative processes, and problem-solving.
